Steve is a founding owner of Allied Exteriors and is passionate about the business and the Allied team. Right from the start, Steve was determined to be the very best in our industry. He has steadily grown and developed the business to its current size. Steve is responsible for scoping and quoting our more complicated remedial projects and works closely with our clients to ensure we deliver the correct technical solutions. Steve studied Law and Business at Auckland University.
Sopo NanaiBusiness Development Manager - Residential Painting and Plaster Maintenance
Sopo is responsible for scoping and quoting residential house repaints and repair / maintenance work to exterior plaster cladding systems.
Andy NockContract Manager - Exterior Plastering
Andy started with Allied Exteriors in 2006 and has risen up the ranks through our Plastering Division. Andy has over 20 years experience installing exterior plastering cladding systems and is a Licenced Building Practitioner (LBP). He has extensive technical experience and product knowledge. Andy now manages our Exterior Plastering Division. He works with our clients to complete projects to schedule, managers our teams of tradesmen plasterers and oversees the quality control of our exterior plastering installations.
Evelyn TateOffice Manager
Evelyn joined Allied Exteriors in 2007 and has been the heart of the office ever since. Evelyn has many responsibilities including managing our Health & Safety program, financial accounts, management reporting, payroll, payments and a host of other duties. She is typically the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to our office and showroom.
Gordon BrodieTechnical Director / Founding Owner
Gordon is a founding owner of Allied Exteriors and has been plastering since the 1980's. He was the first licensed building practitioner (LBP) in Auckland and has 35 years experience in the plastering and painting industry. Gordon is responsible for scoping and pricing the more complex remedial plastering and building projects. He also works with our plastering teams to upskill our tradesmen plasterers with his enormous technical expertise and industry experience.
Simon MansfieldContract Manager - Painting Division
Simon started with Allied Exteriors in 2010 after returning to New Zeland. Simon originally trained as a tradesmen painter and moved into project management for large scale painting projects whilst living in Australia. He has extensive technical expertise, product knowledge and over 25 years of industry experience. Simon manages our Painting Division and oversees our teams of painters. He is responsible for project management and quality control of our painting and plaster maintenance projects.
Josie FairbrotherSales Support
Josie supports our sales team by ensuring leads and inquiries are responded to promptly and supports Steve and Bryan with tender/quote preparation.
Bryan Van der BergBusiness Development Manager - Exterior Plaster
Bryan joined at Allied Exteriors in 2010 after having successfully started, run and sold his own contracting business. Bryan works closely with our commercial and residential builder clients to service their tendering requirements. Bryan is passionate about customer care and providing top quality service to our clients. He specialises in scoping and quoting new exterior plaster cladding systems and has excellent product knowledge of all our main plaster cladding systems.
Glenn StempherGeneral Manager Operations
Glenn started with Allied Exteriors in 2007 after having run a large manufacturing and freight business. Glenn trained as a professional quantity surveyor and his return to the building industry saw him return to those roots. Nowadays, Glenn is responsible for the financial heart of our operations and works closely with our Contract Managers to oversee the financial performance of our projects. Glenn prepares the more complex payment claims, SSSP's, producer statements and system warranties.
Mehnaz ThomasOperations Co-ordinator
Mehnaz started with Allied Exteriors in 2010. Mehnaz has an administrative background and has just completed a Graduate Diploma in Business. Mehnaz provides administrative support to the Contract Managers. She coordinates with our clients to program our forward workload, obtain paint colour schedules and any other information required. Mehnaz works closely with our Contract Managers to ensure the smooth running of our operations by organising sub trades, managing snag lists, coordinating deliveries and scaffold drops.
Kin TongQuantity Surveyor
Kin joined Allied Exteriors in 2014 and works closely with Bryan to service our commercial and residential builders. KIn measures the quantities of our products/systems from the building plans and provides them to Bryan who prepares the price and quotation documentation.
