Allied Exteriors started trading in 2006 when two long-established exterior plastering and painting businesses merged. Our dream was to build an organization whose strength lies in its people and systems, making us a leader among qualified plastering contractors in Auckland.
In an industry where much of the labor is unqualified and subcontracted, we chose a different path. Our mission has always been to build a permanently employed workforce committed to investing in training and qualifications. Today, we take pride in having the most qualified exterior plastering team in Auckland. Our investment in our people has resulted in very low staff turnover, with many of our 60 employees staying with us for 8 to 10 years!
In 2009, we launched a building division to complement our plastering and painting services. Our building division specializes in leaky home repairs, recladding, and new builds. Our extensive experience in leaky building remediation has allowed us to continuously refine our systems to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Our permanent team of builders is crucial to our growth strategy.
We believe that any business is only as good as its people. Building and developing a great team takes time, and we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved by sticking to our mission and investing in our skilled workforce. As a result, we are recognized as licensed building practitioners and building industry professionals.
Today, our core trades remain exterior plastering, painting, and building. With our in-house trade skills, we naturally expanded into plaster building refurbishment, which now accounts for half of our annual turnover.
